About Driving Instructors...
Beware! Not all driving instructors are qualified to teach you. A trainee driving instructor (PDI or potential driving instructor) may lack teaching skills and may not qualify, leaving you to find another instructor. A trainee must display a pink licence (with a triangle logo) on the windscreen of their training car. Many driving schools use unqualified trainees, and should the the trainee fail to qualify they may be replaced by another trainee. Most usually charge the same lesson price with a trainee as you'd pay for a qualified instructor..
So, to ensure that your instructor is a fully qualified Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) always look on the windscreen for the green Certificate with the octagon logo. Over the 4 year lifetime of the green cerrtificate the green print can sometimes fade to blue.
